my february tbr

Hey folks! We’re settling into February nicely so I figured its time to share my TBR for the month.

I did some polls on Twitter in the following categories: ‘grown up books’, LGBT, historical fiction, sci fi & fantasy and non-fiction! My lovely followers then voted and here are the winners:

Star-Crossed by Barbara Dee (LGBT), Macbeth by Jo Nesbo (grown up books), The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers (sci fi & fantasy), All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (historical fiction), Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (non-fiction) and Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert (LGBT – there was a draw!)

I’ve also got a few arcs to read and review, courtesy of NetGalley. The two I’m focusing on in February are The Secret of Dinswood by Ellen Alexander and Woman 99 by Greer Macallister.

I’m going to be doing a buddy read with Cat @ Pages & Plots! We’re going to be reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern which has been on my TBR for approximately forever. I’m really excited to get into this book with this lovely gal!

And finally, I will be finishing my buddy read with my pal Becca Leighanne! We’re reading An Abundance of Katherines by John Green together, which we started on the 31st January and are meant to be finishing today (although it’s not looking likely if I don’t get my butt into gear!!).

What are you reading this month? Have you read anything from my tbr?

  1. Great post! I am also buddy-reading The Night Circus with a friend from goodreads this February. I will be eager to know your opinion on it. Nearly everyone was raving about this book so we are also very curious.

  2. I hope you enjoy them all!! I’ve only read to all the light we cannot see which I enjoyed. I heard good things about all the way to a small angry planet and I have always liked the name 😂😂
And many good things about the night circus– I’m interested to see what you will think of it!! 😊
The only books I have planned to read this month are King of Scars and Warcross– I’m really bad at planning my TBR 😂
    Happy reading 💛
